Hi there, Michelle here...

Car accidents can be very scary. I am sure you are very shaken up and clearly you are in a lot of pain. The first thing to do is to see a doctor.

You can see your medical doctor, if you do not have a regular doctor you still have a few options: you can go to an emergency clinic for treatment, these are a step down from a ER, or if you don't have a 24 hour clinic, and no medical doctor, please head to the ER so they can evaluate your injuries.

After your visit to the doctor, you should see a chiropractor. A chiropractor will be able to help you with your neck pain right away.

Chiropractors are specialists in neck pain and work extensively with patients who have been injured in car accidents. You do not need a referral from a doctor to see one, simply find a chiropractor in your local area call their office and explain you were in a car accident.

They will work directly with your car insurance, and will usually be able to get you in for a same day appointment.

There are lots of pages on the site about how to get treatment paid for, so take a look at those if you have any questions.

You didn't ask me any questions about billing, so if you have questions, hopefully these pages will assist. I also want you to read about whether or not you need a lawyer.

You are injured, and it sounds like the accident involved multiple injured people. If the accident was caused by another driver, you need to speak to a lawyer for sure.

There is a simple form on the site you can fill out and a lawyer in your local area will contact you. Its free, and there is no obligation. The lawyer will make sure you are taken care of if another driver caused these injuries.

Lots of luck, feel free to comment back if you have more questions.

M.
